Product Introduction 
The Automatic smoothness tester operates on the Bekk method principle. Under a specified contact pressure and test area, it measures the time required for a given volume of air to pass through the gap between the specimen surface and a glass anvil, expressed in seconds (s) as the smoothness value. The slower the air passes through, the longer the time, indicating a smoother surface. The instrument uses a high-precision pressure sensor and stepper motor to automatically apply standard pressure and precisely control the air leakage rate. Advanced airflow detection technology automatically identifies the required measuring range and switches between ranges accordingly. The large color touchscreen enables one-touch operation, with automatic result printing upon test completion.

After testing, results are displayed directly on the large color touchscreen. The built-in thermal printer can instantly print test data with high speed, silent operation, and no need for ink cartridges or ribbon replacement.

5. Does the instrument require regular calibration?
